Monday the 12th Harlan girls track attended a meet at ISU in Ames. Only about half the team went to the meet and they did farley well. I was unable to get results of the meet but i have an interview with Cristin Kloewer who ran a 4×4 very well at the meet.
Q.How did you feel going into the meet?
A.Scared and nervous but ready to start off the year well.
Q.How do you think your 4×4 team did?
A.Pretty good for an indoor track we had a time of 4:18 and got 8th place out of 40. We were the B team and B teams have never placed before.
Q. What are your hopes for the track season?
A.I hope we can win every meet and i hope a lot of us can go to state and drake.
Q. Do you feel good in how you ran at the meet?
A.I didn’t do so well in the 4×1 or the sprint medley, but i made up for it in the 4×4.
Q.Were you happy with the results of the meet?
A.For the most part.
Q.How do you think the practices are, do you think they push you eonugh to get where they want you to be?
A.The practices are tough once in awhile and it is a lot harder then last year.
Q.How do you think the team will do in the meets this year compaired to the last few years?
A.We lost a lot of our sprinters from last year so it will be interesting to see how we do.
