Varsity lost the meet 0-9 and are 2-7 on the season. Tonight we ran into one of the best teams in the conference and it showed by the score. I am really pleased with how Cody and Lucas played in their singles and doubles matches even with their losses. Cody and Jeff Williams played an outstanding tennis match that was just fun to watch. Lucas was down big but fought back to tie it at 7-7. He played one of his better matches tonight. Lucas hit the ball extremely well against one of the best #2 players in the conference. Cody and Lucas were down big early in doubles but battled back to tie it at 7-7. Unfortunately, they couldn’t put it away. Our other players struggled tonight. They need to keep their heads up and keep learning the game. The JV squad pulled out a tight one tonight winning 3-2. JV Singles Scores(1-0)
