Comments: I was pleased with our performance overall as we improved from last years eighth place finish. Cody was seeded third and ended up getting third place. He lost to eventual champion Jeff Williams(Clarinda) in the semifinals in a competitive match. Cody had two set points in the first set but couldn’t finish Jeff off. Jeff played extremely well in the second set putting Cody away 7-5, 6-3. Lucas was seeded fourth and ended up getting fourth. He played well today but couldn’t overcome great performances by #1 seed Kale Manuel and #3 seed Evan Dusenberry. Nate Andersen and Mitch Gross also had a good day playing at #2 doubles finishing 2-2 on the day and giving us 2 much needed points at 7th place.
