Kindergarten Cops

For our newsblog we decided to interview a member of the kindergarten cops program that started at the high school this year.

Q; What is Kindergarten Cops?
A: Kindergarten cops is a group of students that have a study hall 8th hour and volunteer to watch kids when they come to switch buses to go home. They nake sure that the kids are walking and don't get hurt while switching buses.


Q: Who is all involved in this cop like patrol?
A: The group of cops consist of Ryne Nelsen, Amber Mancini, Cristin Kloewer, Hannah Schaben, and Mitch Gross.


Q: When are the Kindergarten Cops on duty?
A: They are on duty from approximately 3:15 when the kids get to the high school on the bus, until 3:30 when the buses depart.


Q: Where do all of the cops stand and patrol at?
A:The high-schoolers stand on the front side walk in front of the school from the flag pole in front of the high school all the way over to the middle school sidewalk.


Q; Why did the Kindergarten Cops start here? was there a need for it?
A: This was started because kids were getting out of control and fights were being started since there was no supervision to stop it, so they saw a need to create people to enforce rules!
