Hello all, this is Justin2, Grant2, & Dylan7 here for HCHS NewsBlog. We have interviewed 13 semester one CWI students, and asked them questions about their opinions on the class. It's interesting to see the student's views on certain things. Take notes, Mr. Bruns. Enjoy!
QUESTION #1-What was your favorite part about Current World Issues?
Michelle: Global warming.
Dylan: The makings of newsblogs.
Alex: Keeping up with the current events.
CJ: Listening to music before class.
Brooke: Talking to friends and listening to music before class.
Bryan: Getting to do all the individual blogs.
Jill: Nothing.
Emily: When it's going to be over.
Ben: Learning what's going on in the world.
Jandy: Watching Hotel Rwanda.
Zack: Doing newsblogs and interviewing people.
Collin: Learning about what is happening in the world.
Sadie: Newsblogs.
QUESTION #2-What was your least favorite part about Current World Issues?
Michelle: Political stuff.
Dylan: Current events tests.
Alex: Map tests.
CJ: Everything.
Brooke: 9 extra blogs.
Bryan: Current events tests.
Jill: Map tests.
Emily: Everything, all the blogs and stuff.
Ben: How boring it is.
Jandy: Current events tests.
Zack: Current events tests.
Collin: Having to study on a computer.
Sadie: Map tests.
QUESTION #3-What was your opinion on the tesets?
Michelle: They were all hard.
Dylan: They were pretty hard.
Alex: If you study, they weren't so bad.
CJ: They were hard, but wouldn't be so bad if I ever studied.
Brooke: Some were tough...actually, all were.
Bryan: Kind of difficult.
Jill: They were hard.
Emily: Impossible.
Ben: They were hard, but I didn't study.
Jandy: Too hard, too much studying.
Zack: Very hard.
Collin: Pretty much medium.
Sadie: Map tests were easy, question tests were hard.
QUESTION #4-Did you like Mr. Bruns as a teacher?
Michelle: Yeah.
Dylan: Yeah.
Alex: Yeah, Bruns is cool.
CJ: Sure.
Brooke: Yeah, he was cool.
Bryan: He is very cool and very funny.
Jill: Yeah.
Emily: Yeah, but it'd be better if he was a technology teacher.
Ben: He was aight.
Jandy: Yeah.
Zack: Yeah, I did.
Collin: Yes, he was good.
Sadie: Yes.
QUESTION #5-If you had one thing you could change about CWI, what would it be?
Michelle: The tests are so hard, especially when you don't study.
Dylan: Individual blogs.
Alex: You should assign ideas for newsblogs.
CJ: More stuff in class, less stuff on the internet.
Brooke: No current events tests.
Bryan: Maybe only one test a week.
Jill: The tests should be easier.
Emily: Less tests and other stuff.
Ben: Less technology stuff.
Jandy: Not using the computers so much, less technology stuff.
Zack: Easier tests, more multiple choice, limit amount of individual blogs.
Collin: Less computer stuff, and hand-written study guides.
Sadie: Not so much essay stuff on tests.
