Faith Sound is a group of high school singers from the Harlan area. Steve Lawson is the director and has been ever since its start almost forty years ago. Every year Faith Sound goes to a lot of churches in the area and a few churches far away and perform for them. This group consists of 12 vocalists, 8 instrumentalists, and Mr. Lawson as the sound system guy. They sing all Christian songs. They are a very enjoyable group and everybody should see them perform sometime. The Faith Sound season will be underway on Sunday, January 6th at the First United Methodist Church in Harlan.
