Chatting With Mr. Simdorn

We interviewed Mr. Simdorn, who is one of the retiring teachers from Harlan Community Schools. Mr. Simdorn teaches Middle School Social Studies and is also the athletic director for the Middle School. He loves helping with athletic events.
Mr. Simdorn is a great teacher and all the kids who have had him in the past years would say he was fun to be around and very friendly. Whenever you see him in the hallways he has a bright smile on his face and always says hello.
We asked a couple of our fellow students what they thought the best thing about him was and they said that he always let us help him with school things, he let us ask lots of questions, and always explained things to us.
One thing a lot of kids know about is his desk. If you look inside of it a lot of his students have signed the inside of it. A lot of memories are in his desk.
