We asked some people some questions on what they think about the recent increase in people switching their religion, do they think church should be fun and exciting or strict and serious, how they feel about non-denominational churches growing, how they feel about more and more people not having a religion, and do they think people in Harlan will be switching their religion?

Q. What do you think about the resent increase of people switching over to other religions?
Lynn- She doesn't seem to have a problem with it but she thinks people should have a religion.
Jerry- He thinks there are alot of changes in the world and people want to try new things and have an up to date religion.
Q. Do you think church should be fun and exciting or sstrict and serious?
Lynn- thinks there should be seriousness to church but also some silliness to for little children.
Jerry- thinks there is a place for both in religion.
Q. How do you feel about non-denominational churches growing?
Lynn- doesn't think there is a problem but if all they ever do is collect money then it should be stopped.
Jerry- thinks it would be alright.
Q. How do you feel about more and more people not having a religion?
Lynn- thinks that it is not good and that everyone needs some kind of organized worshiping place.
Jerry- thinks it is bad because people's moral values have declined in the world and he thinks that religion can help stop some people from doing bad things.
Q. Do you think that in Harlan more people will begin to switch their religion or stay with the religion they have now?
Lynn- thinks people will stay with their religion but some will because of marragies with two people who have different religions.
Jerry- thinks that the younger generation will be more likley to switch their religion.
