Cody Petersen lost 1-6, 1-6 to Peter Wright(Dubuque Wahlert)

Cody Petersen lost 2-6, 2-6 to Paul Leonard(Independence)

Cody started slow putting him behind early in both matches. Cody had his moments but just could not consistently make the shots. I am extremely proud of Cody and want to congratulate him on an outstanding year. Making the state tennis tournament is an honor and Cody should be proud of himself. He learned alot today about what he needs to do to improve his game to compete at the elite level. I have no doubt Cody will use today as a motivator for next year.
