Mr. Klinkefus’ Thank-You Response

After a very touching student council presentation to Mr. Klinkefus on Wednesday morning, Mr. Klinkefus wanted to share this thank-you response to the Student Body:

“WOW! I want to extend my sincerely gratitude to all of those who took time from their busy schedules to prepare the program this morning. I’m extremely honored and touched by the gesture. It doesn’t matter how much I have tried to prepare for this transition, I have known for some time that this would be a very emotional time for me. I only wish I would have been able to say what I feel in my heart while people were in the auditorium, but those of you who know me well also know I have a hard time getting those words out before being overcome with emotion. I truly value and appreciate all of you and what you have done to make this a special place for me and my family. The future of HCHS is exceptionally bright. The sky is the limit when you have a dedicated staff and motivated students. I intend to continue my support of our many programs and look forward to enjoying our many student performances and successes in the years to come. The words that I have shared with you in this message are my best attempt to convey my true feelings about my experience as a CYCLONE. You are all, and will always be, very special to me. Thank you for the ride and the many memories that I will always cherish.

P. S. - I have no idea where Pam came up with those pictures, but one thing is quite evident ———–THINGS HAVE CHANGED. However, as evidenced by the many pictures, my family is very dear to me and I am thankful they were able to share this moment. ”

With Appreciation,
Kent
