8th Grade Basketball Preveiw

I interveiwed Coach Chad Bruns on the upcoming 8th grade basketball season. Since the camera only took a minute 20 second videos and for the battery not being fully charged the rest of the interveiw will be down below.

Willy: Who are the starters this season?

CB: not 100% sure, top seven: Jared Juhl, Drake Decker, Lucas Musich, Zach Osborn, Ben Bruck and Seth Lansman.

W: Who is the most challenging oppenent this year and why?

CB: Well we have to be ready for everyone. I would say Carroll Public might be as it is the only team this team lost to last year.

W: I remember last year you told us that your team wouldn't have a Lebron James on it. Tell me if there would be a superstar on your team, who would it be?

CB: Right now we have a lot of very good players. Everyone I mentioned earlier have the capability of scoring points and playing a great all around game. We have no superstar!

W: What is the difference from this team from the great team you had last year?

CB: I would say that our weakness last year as a team was outside shooting. Outside shooting is this teams strength.

W: I didn't forget about the B team. What about them Coach Bruns. How does the B team look this year?

CB: The B Team is looking good. Everyone knows the plays and are working hard in preparation of B Team's opener Thursday.

W: So what is your outlook for this season?

CB: Our goal is to improve every game both individually and as a team. If we can do that, we should have a very successful season based on their one loss last year.
