The HCHS boys varsity tennis tennis team played Shenandoah today and defeated them 6-3. The boy's record is now 2-2. Due to the rain, the meet was played at the Red Oak YMCA.
"It was great to actually get this meet in today due to the rain. I figured it would be cancelled today, but a big thanks goes out to the Red Oak YMCA for letting us play there" Coach Chad Bruns said. "All of our players today won at least one match. It was a great win for us against a team that is very similar to us in talent." I was especially pleased to see Jacob Harmon get a victory today as he has struggled this year. The comeback win should give him the confidence he needs to play better tennis." Cody, Lucas, Mitch, Nate and Josh also played very well and helped bring home the win."
