HCHS Boys Tennis Lose to Denison

The HCHS boys varsity tennis team lost to Denison tonight(4-22) 3-6. Cody Petersen and Nate Pattee played very well in their singles matches today," Coach Chad Bruns said. "Cody's opponent had not lost this year. Aurand is a very consistent player. Cody did a great job of being patient and waiting for his opportunities to go for winners. Nate Pattee is also playing very well since making varsity several weeks ago. "Nate has a lot of potential to be a very good tennis player. Getting wins will definitely boost his confidence for future matches this season and next." The other win came at #1 singles. "Cody and Lucas have been struggling this year in doubles. It was great to see them play well and get a win today." The Cyclones are now 2-4 on the season. Here are the final results:
