Chiefs come out with first win of 2007

On Saturday at 12 P.M. the 3rd week of the NFL season started against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Minnisota Vikings at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City Missouri. This game is most likely the best offensive come back of Kansas City in a long time.

In the first half of play the Chiefs were held to a total of only 56 yards to the Vikings defense. The Vikings took a early lead with a touchdown lead over the Chiefs, and then later to put more points on the board on last time in the second half to only kick a field goal and answering right back was the chiefs new kicker Dave Rayner replacing the released rookie Justin Medlock for three ending the half.

Starting the next half a new Chiefs team took their home field with pride to make a comeback. Starting off with a good drive with the passing game and trying to establish a running game the Chiefs manage to sqeaze in another field goal in the 3rd quarter. The Chiefs defense which lately in the Chiefs franchise has been a mith due to poor preformances in the last few seasons but Herm Edwards seem to be turning that around. The Chiefs defense came ready to play in the second half showing that the Vikings funning game can be stopped with a combination of a great defensive line with Jared Allen and good line backs like Donnie Edwards and Derek Johnson. Showing promise of his worth to be a first round draft pick Dwayne Bowe #82 has a great second half with a highlight catch in the end zone. Between the future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez and the first round draft pick Dwayne Bowe Huard had little trouble finding recievers at critical downs. The Chiefs manage to have a come back to get the first win of the Chiefs 2007 season.
