Presidential Campaign Update

This is Evans2 for HCHS news. Hilary Clinton and Mitt Romney are the front runners in the polls for their respective parties. Hilary Clinton is the leader in the Democratic party with 40%. Mitt Romney has the Republican lead with 25%. I have interviewed two people about the presidential race and how they think it is going.

Q: Who do you think is going to win this election?

A1: Democrats, because the American public think that the Republicans got us into this mess and the Democrats will get us out.

A2: I can't predict that at this time. There is still a long way to go before the election.

Q: Have you disagreed with any of the candidates views?

A1: All of them.

A2: I disagree with many of the candidates concerning different issues. I think that you have to pick the candidate that best represents your ideals and values.

Q: Which candidate has appealed to you? Why?

A1: John McCain, because I think that he uses sound judgement and he is not too full of political hype.

A2: Hilary Clinton, because I think it is time for a woman to be president.

Q: What issues facing the nation would you like to see addressed when the new president takes office?

A1: Political hypocrisy.

A2: I would like to see the issues concerning health care addressed and also I feel the issue of immigration needs to be examined and the policies need to be changed.

This is Evans2 for HCHS news. Good bye!
