HCHS Boy's Tennis Lose to Denison

The HCHS boy’s tennis team hosted Denison on Thursday, April 4th and lost their first meet of the year 2-7. “Denison is a great team that should contend for the Hawkeye 10 title this year,” Coach Chad Bruns said. “I thought we competed as best we could which is all you can ask for. I was extremely happy to see Keenan and Gabe get wins today. Keenan played an outstanding match and Gabe battled back from 4-7 down to win in a tiebreaker. This is Gabe’s first year out so going 2-0 to start the year is just great for his confidence. Denison showed us our weaknesses and we will need to improve on those as we continue on through the season,” Bruns added.

HCHS travels to Lewis Central on Tuesday, April 9th and hosts Audubon on Thursday, April 11th.
