HCHS Cyclones Boy's Tennis Lose a Close one to Clarinda 4-5

The HCHS boy's tennis team lost 3-6 to Clarinda on Thursday, May 2. The Cyclones were without their #2 player Keenan Finn, who was sick. "Not having Keenan tonight no doubt hurt us against a very good Clarinda team, but we had a lot of chances to win this meet, specifically at #4 singles and at #1 and #2 doubles," Coach Chad Bruns said. "I am proud of how everyone battled tonight. Clarinda is a good team and we just weren't able to win the big points down the stretch." The Cyclones are now 5-6 on the year.

The Cyclones host Clarinda on Thursday, May 1 and conclude the regular season Thursday, May 8th at home against Red Oak.
