HCHS Boy's Tennis Defeats Shenandoah 6-3

The Harlan Community boy's tennis team traveled to Shenandoah on Thursday, April 24th and won 6 matches to 3. The win puts the Cyclones at 4-5 for the year with three tennis meets left before the Hawkeye 10 Conference Tennis Tournament on Monday, May 12.

"I am very pleased with the win today against a good Shenandoah team,” Coach Chad Bruns said.  "We continue to improve every single meet. "Trey, Isaac, Gabe and Derek played very well in singles today, all winning. We also won two out of the three doubles matches which shows how far our doubles play has come from the beginning of the season. It was also great to have Isaac Stitz back today after being sick our previous two meets. We haven’t had our full varsity team a whole lot this year so it’s great to be healthy and playing well as we approach the end of the season.”

The Cyclones host Atlantic on Monday, April 28th and Clarinda on Thursday, May 1.
