HCHS Boy's Tennis Lose 3-6 to Glenwood

The Harlan Community boy's tennis team fell to 3-5 on the season losing to Glenwood 3-6. "It was a hard fought meet today," Coach Chad Bruns said. "There were a lot of close matches today so we competed well. Trey Lansman played extremely well in singles winning a super close match in a tiebreaker. Gabe Ferry had to hold on to win 9-7 after being up 7-2. He showed a lot of determination in the last two games to put the match away after letting a big lead melt away."

In doubles, Josh Buman and Derek Leinen won a close match 8-6. "Just another great, close match," Bruns added. "Derek and Josh played two consecutive great games at 6-6 to pull out the win."
