HCHS Boy's Tennis Defeat Carroll Kuemper 6-3

The HCHS boy's tennis team hosted the Carroll Kuemper Knights on Tuesday, April 26 and won the meet 6-3 for their fourth win in five matches. The Cyclones are now 6-4 on the season.

"This was a great win for us against a team that we are very evenly matched with," Coach Chad Bruns said. "All but two of the matches were close and could have gone either way. Winning close matches builds a lot of confidence in your game. We had just talked about in practice how sometimes you just have to grind and win however you can and I think that's how we ended up winning more of those close matches today. I am extremely proud of all my players and how they have been playing the last two weeks. Hopefully we can continue our momentum against Clarinda and Red Oak and into the Conference Tournament and Districts."

The Cyclones host Clarinda on Thursday, April 28th. The regular season ends at home against Red Oak on Thursday, May 5th.
