HCHS Boy's Tennis Defeat St. Albert's 6-3

The HCHS boy’s tennis team traveled to St. Albert’s on Monday, April 4 to take on the Saintes. The Cyclones ended up winning the meet 6-3 evening their record to 1-1 for the season.

“I was very happy with how we played to today overall and it was a good win for us but I still see a lot of work that we have to do to improve throughout the season,” Coach Chad Bruns said. “I thought Isaac and Alec played a very good match in singles despite losing and I was very pleased with singles wins from Michael, Josh, Nolan and Kaleb. I was also happy to see us win two of the three doubles matches. We haven’t focused a lot on doubles play in practice as of yet, so I feel we can improve quite a bit in that area by the end of the season.”

The Cyclones host Thomas Jefferson(Council Bluffs) on Tuesday, April 5 and travel to Denison on Thursday, April 7.
